Papercrafts as a learning support tool
~Colourful fruits~
This work won the SDGs Prize in the 32st Kamiwaza Grand Prize Competition. The following is the concept of the work.
Papercrafts are a useful tool as a means of addressing SDG 4 ‘Quality education’. Papercrafts designed with shapes, dimensions and patterns based on real objects help learners to acquire the characteristics of fruit in three dimensions and deepen their knowledge through assembly. In addition, these stencils and 3D model data can be published online, allowing educational resources to be shared widely. This provides a means of delivering quality education to a large number of people beyond geographical constraints.
